Environmental Field Technician (Stack Emissions Testing)
Broadbent & Associates, Inc. of Las Vegas, NV is hiring a full‑time Environmental Stack Testing Field Technician to conduct a wide variety of complex projects, with special emphasis on stack emissions testing.

Dayin the Life
Under the supervision of the Field Operations Manager, the Technician conducts stack emissions testing activities (bag houses, furnace stacks, industrial flares, etc.), calibrates equipment, maintains the mobile lab trailer, operates and troubleshoots complex electronic and stack gas conveyance systems, ensures health and safety procedures are followed, and performs shop duties as needed.
Mechanical skills are essential as the Technician works at varying job sites with different stack configurations. Travel is required, and the Technician must be comfortable working at heights with all safety precautions and equipment in place.
Qualifications- One to four years of stack testing experience conducting EPA methods 1 through 5 (training provided for the right candidate).
- Experience with CEMS is helpful but not required.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology or Environmental Science helpful but not required.
- Must be able to comfortably work at heights with proper training and safety protocols.
- Must have the ability to travel.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record free of major violations over the past five years.
- Self‑starter, quick learner, and possess effective communication skills.
- Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
- Ability to operate high lifts, climb scaffolding, and lift 50–70 pounds.
This full‑time position typically works Monday through Friday. Moderate traveling, weekend work and overnight stays may be required during peak season.
