** Job Description**##
** Overview
* * We are seeking a
** Senior Water Resources Engineer Group Lead
** to join our
** Henderson, NV
** office. This role will supervise other engineering staff and support projects and tasks related to flood control design, highway drainage, stormwater/flood control master planning, hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, and FEMA CLOMR/LOMR submittals. This role will manage drainage/flood control design tasks on large, inter-disciplinary projects and be project manager for local projects/studies.##
** Your role
*** Lead and mentor junior engineers in the development of design concepts.
* Coordinate with clients and stakeholders. Coordinate with other disciplines.
* Plan and review the production of engineering investigations, models, planning work, reports, drawings and specifications.
* Develop and evaluate plans and criteria for new projects, weighing alternatives and selecting the most cost-effective solution.
* Analyze technical problems, assess the feasibility of proposed techniques and procedures, and devise new approaches and alternative solutions.
* Analyze project dimension and scope, and prepare or oversee the preparation of cost and manpower estimates, schedules and job budgets.
* Coordinate work with other project and task managers, guides others on drafting and design of preliminary and final plans, guides others on hydrologic and hydraulic modeling and preparation of studies/reports.
* Provide quality control and maintain quality standards, check work performed by others.
* Manage projects.
* Perform other duties as necessary.##
** About you
*** B.S. or M.S. in Civil Engineering. This level may be achieved by Engineers with 10 years' experience since B.S.; 11 years' experience since M.S. Incumbents typically have 15 to 25 years since bachelor’s degree.
* Experience with major projects and alternative delivery is a plus but not a requirement.
* Understanding of hydrologic and hydraulic design principles and applications in arid regions, preferably in Southern Nevada.
* Good technical writing, computer and verbal communications skills.
* P.E. license is required.##

**** Expected compensation range is between $135,000 - $198,000 annually depending on skills, experience, and geographical location
