Summary
Packaging Engineer Salary Range: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour.
Must be willing to relocate to Henderson, NV in late 2026.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and design solutions for packaging Haas machines and accessories for shipping.
- Follow direction of the management team to ensure proper design protocols and procedures are followed.
- Effectively communicate reasoning behind design decisions.
- Remain up to date on new packaging trends, materials, and technology.
- Create, administer, and implement Engineering Change Requests.
- Maintain a task schedule and hold deadlines.
- Take full ownership of assigned projects.
- Follow instructions, procedures, and raise issues impacting workflow, quality, etc.
- Exercise honesty, integrity, and demonstrate adherence to rules, procedures and policies.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in packaging engineering, industrial design, or related field.
- Must understand the entire design process from concept, prototype, testing, and production.
Desired
Qualifications:
- 1 to 3 years’ experience in the design of packaging for national and international shipping.
- Four‑year college or university degree (BA/BS/BFA/BSA) in Industrial Engineering, Packaging Science, or Manufacturing Engineering.

0‑1 year.
Must read, analyze, interpret, and write analytical/technical reports, business correspondence, procedure manuals, and instructional references. Must speak effectively before groups, customers, employees, and the general public.
Mathematical SkillsCalculate figures such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Apply concepts of arithmetic, algebra, and geometry.
Reasoning AbilityApply principles of logical and scientific thinking, handle abstract and concrete variables, and interpret complex symbols.
