Project Manager-E

Responsible for preparation and coordination of all technical activities on assigned projects, ensuring compliance with codes, engineering practices and standards, and facilitating communication among all disciplines and consultants.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Serve as the main point of contact in daily interactions with the client’s designated representative and jurisdictional agency personnel, and lead all internal project team activities.
  • Manage project team of engineers, CAD designers, technicians, sub‑consultants, and contractors to achieve project objectives.
  • Plan, schedule, conduct and coordinate the financial and technical aspects of projects.
  • Control overall project schedules and budgets through completion.
  • Perform quality‑control review of design elements, contractual obligations and deliverables prior to external release.
  • Identify, interpret and resolve technical project issues with minimal oversight.
  • Analyze and interpret the latest regulations and criteria for local, state and federal agencies.
  • Simultaneously manage multiple projects and deliverables.
  • Conduct all business professionally and ethically to serve customers and enhance company goodwill and profit.
  • Assist in coordinating Construction Phase Services including site visits, bid documents, submittal reviews and pay applications.
  • Travel overnight as required.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (ABET accredited).
  • Registered or eligible for a P.E. license in the required state.
  • Strong management and leadership skills, with a proven ability to train and mentor staff.
  • Minimum 4+ years of engineering experience in Land Development Projects.
  • Experience in technical writing of deliverables such as work plans, contract documents, summary reports and project correspondence.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microsoft Project and other Microsoft Office platforms.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Willingness to learn and expand responsibilities.
  • Ability to follow instructions in written, oral or electronic form.
  • Proficiency with email and Microsoft Office.

  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time efficiently to balance competing deadlines.
