Project Environmental Scientist/Geologist
Broadbent & Associates, Inc. is seeking a Project Scientist or Geologist to support and manage environmental projects in Henderson, Nevada. This position is suited for a consulting professional with experience in site assessment, remediation, and regulatory compliance who is ready to take ownership of projects and client relationships.
This is a project level role involving technical execution, project management, and direct interaction with clients and regulatory agencies.

Primary Responsibilities Project Management- Manage environmental assessment and remediation projects from initiation through completion
- Develop scopes of work, schedules, and budgets
- Track project progress and maintain budget performance
- Coordinate subcontractors and review vendor proposals and invoices
- Prepare and review work plans, technical reports, and regulatory submittals
- Analyze and interpret environmental data related to soil, groundwater, and vapor
- Support remediation system design, implementation, and performance evaluation
- Prepare proposals for public and private sector clients
- Conduct periodic site visits to support project execution
- Oversee field activities and ensure compliance with approved work plans and health and safety requirements
- Provide direction to field staff and subcontractors
- Interface with clients to communicate project status and technical findings
- Coordinate with federal, state, and local regulatory agencies
- Support project strategy and regulatory closure efforts
- Bachelor's degree in geology, hydrogeology, or environmental science or a related field
- Nevada Certified Environmental Manager
- Three or more years of experience in environmental consulting
- Experience with environmental site assessment, contaminant investigation, or remediation projects
- Working knowledge of federal and state environmental regulations
- Experience managing multiple projects and meeting deliverable deadlines
- Strong technical writing and communication skills
- Ability to travel periodically, including occasional overnight assignments
- Experience with groundwater monitoring, remediation systems, or regulatory closure
- Experience with the Nevada Petroleum Fund
- Experience preparing cost estimates and managing project budgets
Familiarity with fuel system sites, water resources, or compliance projects - Interest in supporting business development activities

This is a full-time position with a typical Monday through Friday schedule. Occasional travel, overnight assignments, and extended field efforts may be required depending on project needs. Participation in emergency response work is voluntary.
