About The Role

In this vital role, you will support the maintenance and operation of the building systems inside a client facility. As a Maintenance Technician III you’ll be a key leader in running a shift and providing guidance to fellow technicians and Automation Engineer support partners.

You will utilize your expertise to optimize and execute preventive maintenance, maximizing equipment reliability and performance of conveyors, sortation systems, scanners, cameras, print & apply systems, SCADA devices, etc. You will provide expert‑level support based on technical problems related to MHE systems.

What You’ll Do
  • Repair, maintain, and continuously improve functionality of materials handling equipment (MHE) and robotic systems throughout the facility.
  • Lead and audit preventive maintenance procedures.
  • Install, maintain, and solve relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components, photo‑eyes, motor starters, limit switches, proximity sensors, solenoids, etc.
  • Lead and mentor work plans for emergency repair of critical assets and training plans for Maintenance Technicians.
  • Build and close out work orders in a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  • Build positive working relationships with the client and Operations Maintenance team members.
  • Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
What You’ll Need
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 4+ years of experience working with automated conveyors and controls.
  • Proficient using computers and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with MHE safety standards in accordance with OEM and safety standards.
  • Knowledge of electrical and electronic principles, NEC, and/or industrial electronics.
  • Ability to conduct preventative & procedure-based maintenance.
  • Experience reading blueprints and schematics.
  • Experience with PLC programs.
  • 3+ years of work order management.
  • Ability to use and interpret statistical equipment to run metrics such as OEE/Up Time to prioritize accordingly.
  • Physical requirements include stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders and ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50lbs. or more.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree with a focus in Electronic Technology or equivalent OR 2+ years of equivalent professional experience.
  • Previous leadership experience.
  • Previous vendor management experience.
  • Experience with robotic maintenance.
  • Experience with CMMS.
  • Certification preferred in one or more of the following: electronic, electrical, mechanical, access control servers, PLCs, process controls, robotics, or mechanical power transmissions.
