Position: Part Time Team Member $12.00/hr - Regal Green Valley Ranch - Seasonal

Description

Team members are classified based on individual theatre needs, and/or employee availability, as either variable hour, part-time fixed, part-time regular or full-time hourly employees whose primary responsibility is ensuring our guests receive exceptional service. Team members may be scheduled to work in the Box Office, Concession Stand, or as an Usher.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Regular and consistent attendance
  • Handling of emergency situations when called upon to do so
  • General cleaning duties
  • Compliance with company dress code
Box Office
  • Operating POS system, handling cash drawer, credit cards, travelers’ checks, gift cards, redeemed discount tickets, passes and coupons with accuracy
  • Upselling/suggestive selling of Premium Viewing Experience (3D, RPX, IMAX)
  • Promoting the Regal Crown Club program
  • Ensuring tickets are sold in accordance with MPAA rating system and company policy
  • Responding to phone calls and questions from guests in a manner consistent with our guest service philosophy
Concession
  • Operating POS system, handling cash drawer, credit cards, travelers’ checks, gift cards, redeemed coupons, and managing concession stock inventory
  • Promoting the Regal Crown Club program
  • Operating, preparing and cleaning all concession equipment
  • Upselling/suggestive selling
  • Complying with all local, state and federal food safety laws
  • Abiding by all federal and state laws regarding breaks and meal periods
  • Ensuring required alcohol certification and training are current where applicable
  • If theatre sells alcohol and duties include selling/serving, must be of legal age per state or local laws
  • Required to read and understand training on sexual harassment and discrimination
Usher
  • Tearing tickets, collecting deposit appropriate stub, directing patrons to auditoriums
  • Inspecting backpacks and packages when applicable
  • Managing crowd control and assisting guests in finding seats when necessary
  • Enforcement of MPAA rating system
  • Conducting in-theater inspections to monitor picture and sound quality, watching for film and content theft, maintaining safe quality environment
  • Reporting to management any problems, discrepancies or unusual situations
  • Performing in-auditorium concession auxiliary sales as directed
  • Cleaning auditoriums at end of scheduled shows and maintaining clean restrooms, lobby, hallways and other areas outside the auditorium
  • Monitoring cleanliness and operation of vending equipment
  • Assisting with all opening and closing duties as assigned
Pay Scale Information

$12.00/hr

Benefits

Free movie passes, discounted concessions at any Regal location. Eligible to participate in 401(k) retirement plan, with company match, once at age 21 and 6 months of service.

Education/Experience

Completion of cast certification program as a cast member and as box office cashier or progress towards completion required.

Language Ability

Possess good public speaking, listening effectively, responding clearly and directly.

Math Ability

Perform calculations with speed and accuracy and identify and correct errors.

Reasoning Ability

Identify problems, gather relevant data, note possible causes, evaluate information, recognize alternatives, reach conclusions, perform under pressure and/or opposition.

Personal Skills

Excellent communication skills with customers, co-workers, and management. Establish goals, budget time, set priorities to achieve objectives.

Physical Demands

Stand, walk, sit, use hands for finger, handle, feel; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear. Occasionally climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. May occasionally lift up to 60 pounds. Vision requirements: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
