Controller, Finance & Banking, Accounting Manager

Description We are looking for an experienced Controller to join a dynamic construction group based in Henderson, Nevada. This role involves overseeing the financial operations and accounting processes for multiple legal entities across Nevada and Arizona. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills and expertise in financial reporting, consolidation, and accounting systems.

Responsibilities:

- Manage the accounting and financial reporting for several legal entities within the organization.

- Prepare and oversee consolidated financial reports for the entire group.

- Lead month-end close processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial data.

- Supervise accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions.

- Travel occasionally to build relationships and gain operational insights.

- Utilize Sage 100 software to maintain and analyze accounting records.

- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.

- Collaborate with management to support strategic financial planning and decision-making.

- Implement and maintain effective document control and scanning procedures. Requirements - Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably as a Controller.

- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.

- Familiarity with Sage 100 or similar accounting software.

- Strong knowledge of consolidated financial reporting and multi-entity accounting.

- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to manage AP, AR, and payroll processes effectively.

- Willingness to travel occasionally for operational assessments.

- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
