Director of Biomedical Engineering Services

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Director of Healthcare Technology Management (HTM) to provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for a hospital-based healthcare technology management program in Las Vegas, NV.

This is not an IT position
. The selected candidate will oversee the department responsible for medical equipment management, clinical engineering, and biomedical services to ensure patient safety, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence.

• Lead implementation of the corporate Healthcare Technology Management (HTM) program.
• Define strategic direction through short- and long-term goal setting, technology planning, and medical device integration.
• Oversee operations including risk analysis, regulatory compliance, vendor and contract management, and fiduciary responsibilities.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulatory requirements related to medical equipment management.
• Develop, track, and execute departmental KPIs.
• Create customized service delivery plans to support facility needs.
• Develop, mentor, and motivate the HTM team.
• Strengthen facility and vendor relationships.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and equipment reliability.

• Minimum of Technical School Certification or Associates Degree
• Bachelors Degree preferred
• 5–8 years of related Healthcare Technology Management, Clinical Engineering, or Biomedical Engineering experience
• Healthcare facility experience preferred
• Experience leading healthcare technology management programs
• Strong background in medical equipment oversight and lifecycle management
• Experience with CMMS systems
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products
• Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills
• Relevant biomedical or clinical engineering certifications preferred
