Join the Civmec TeamWe are seeking a highly motivated ERT Senior Advisorto join our site-based emergency response team. This role is critical to maintaining a safe working environment through rapid emergency response, high-quality pre-hospital care, and proactive safety and emergency preparedness activities.
You will play a key role in medical response, fire and rescue operations, hazard management, and supporting site-wide HSE initiatives on our Henderson site.
The Role- Rapidly respond to medical, fire, rescue, and hazardous materials incidents, delivering care from first aid through to advanced life support.
- Undertake fire, rescue, HAZMAT, confined space, vertical rescue, and road crash rescue activities (where trained)
- Maintain emergency response readiness through routine inspections, equipment checks, and daily work area compliance audits (PTW, HSE, emergency equipment)
Support site safety initiatives, WHS compliance, drug & alcohol testing, injury management, and health monitoring - Coordinate and participate in emergency training, drills, toolbox talks, and safety education activities
- Assist with incident management, investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action close‑out Review, maintain, and manage emergency preparedness documentation, records, and reporting
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders while promoting aproactive safety culture and continuous improvement
To be successful in the role you will possess the following:
- Certificate III in Emergency Response & Rescue
- Advanced First Aid & Advanced Resuscitation
- Breathing Apparatus (BA)
- Confined Space & Vertical Rescue
- Hazardous Materials Response
Preferred
- Certificate IV in Health Care and/or Security Operations
- Work Safely at Heights
- Enter and Work in Confined Spaces & Gas Test Atmosphere
