Medical Receptionist

Our busy cardiology practice is seeking an experienced Medical Receptionist to join our patient-focused team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in a medical office setting, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage a fast-paced front desk environment with professionalism and efficiency. Experience with Practice Fusion and Collaborate MD is highly preferred.

• Greet and check in patients in a courteous and professional manner.
• Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments.
• Verify patient insurance eligibility and obtain necessary authorizations.
• Collect co-pays, coinsurance, and outstanding balances.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the EMR system.
• Answer incoming calls and respond to patient inquiries.
• Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow.
• Process referrals, medical records requests, and other administrative tasks.

• Minimum 2 years of medical front desk/receptionist experience required (cardiology experience preferred).
• Strong knowledge of insurance verification and authorization processes.
• Proficiency in electronic medical records; experience with Practice Fusion and Collaborate MD highly preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional, reliable, and patient-centered work ethic.
