We are looking for a Medical Assistant in Las Vegas, NV.
The role is Monday‑Friday, 8‑hour shift.

The Medical Assistant is responsible for clinical and administrative tasks within their scope of practice and follows standard operating procedures to achieve the Quadruple Aim: improved outcomes, patient and clinician experience, and reduced cost of care.
Responsibilities- Promote the mission, vision and values of P3 Health Partners.
- Verify patient information by interviewing, recording medical history, and confirming purpose of visit.
- Prepare patients for examination, performing vital sign checks (blood pressure, weight, temperature), reconciling medications, and addressing gaps in care.
- Perform procedures such as venipuncture, ear lavage, medication administration, and specimen handling.
- Perform administrative duties: chart preparation, answering phones, form completion, scheduling appointments, processing referrals, and scheduling follow‑ups.
- Secure patient information and maintain confidentiality; complete diagnostic coding and procedure coding.
- Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following standards and complying with legal regulations.
- Manage supplies: inventory, order placement, and receipt verification.
- Maintain equipment operation: follow instructions, troubleshoot breakdowns, perform preventive maintenance, and request repairs.
- Enhance practice reputation by accepting ownership for new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Completion of a Medical Assistant course of study or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience, including at least 2 years in a managed care/HMO organization.
- Experience applying medical management treatment guidelines such as Inter Qual / McKesson, MCG, or similar.
- Familiarity with EMR systems.

- Dedication to maintaining confidentiality of patient records.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and vital sign assessment.
Occasional travel may be required to cover other P3 offices or clinics as directed by management.
Certifications and LicensesRequired:
Medical Assistant certification. Preferred: CPR certification.
