Job Description & How to Apply Below

We are a concierge medical practice, which means we do things differently. Our patients are not rushed through a waiting room. They are known by name, seen on time, and treated like guests. Our panel is intentionally small so that every person who walks through our door gets our full attention. That standard starts at the front desk. The person in this seat is the first voice our patients hear and the first face they see, and they set the tone for the entire visit.

This is a front desk position, but "receptionist" undersells it. You are the practice's host. You greet patients, answer the phone, manage the schedule, keep the front office calm and organized, and make sure every person feels looked after from the moment they arrive until the moment they leave. We will teach you the medical side. We cannot teach warmth, and that is what we are actually hiring for.

What

You Will Do
  • Welcome patients in person and by phone with genuine friendliness
  • Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments
  • Check patients in and out, and collect payments
  • Keep patient information accurate and current in our system
  • Handle messages, forms, and requests promptly and follow through until they are resolved
  • Keep the reception area clean, comfortable, and welcoming
  • Protect patient privacy at all times
  • Support the clinical team with day-to-day administrative tasks
What We Are Looking For
  • A naturally friendly, positive personality. You genuinely like people and it shows.
  • Reliability. You show up, on time, ready to go.
  • Discretion. You understand that what you hear in a medical office stays in a medical office.
  • Clear, professional communication, both spoken and written.
  • Comfort with computers and willingness to learn new software.
  • Composure. Some days are busy and some patients are anxious. You stay steady and kind either way.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
Nice to have, but not required:
  • Any customer service, hospitality, retail, or front desk background
  • Previous experience in a medical, dental, or spa setting
  • Familiarity with electronic health records or scheduling software
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
Schedule and Compensation
  • Pay: $18.00 per hour
  • Hours:

    36 hours per week
