Custodian

GENERAL DUTIES

• Daily cleaning and sanitizing of all bathroom facilities, including toilets, and sinks.
• Ensuring break areas, common spaces and restrooms are ready for the next day, including taking out the trash, tidying, rearranging furniture, and wiping surfaces as needed.
• Maintain all safety standards
• Sweeping and mopping of floors.
• General outdoor services such as sweeping entry areas, disposing trash, and cleaning glass doors at entrances.
• Gather and disposes of trash into trash receptacles.
• Performs inventory counts of cleaning supplies, consumable goods,
• Use cleaning supplies and equipment to keep interior of plant floors clean.
• Be able to understand basic directions in English (required)
• Initiate maintenance service request to supervisor.
• Performs other duties assigned by supervisors.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 1 year janitorial experience, or related experience and/or training.
• Having a team-orientated state of mind
• Multitasking ability
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Able to lift objects up to 50 pounds.
• Pre-employment drug screen and background check are required

• Must be able to stand, walk and lift for up to 8 hours daily.
• Vision abilities requires close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth
• Required to lift, push, pull, and/or carry up to 50 lbs. continually.
• May be required to stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Moderately loud noise levels in plant environment.
