Job Responsibilities- Conduct staff meetings to review daily/weekly work activities, plan, and assure continuous improvement.
- Keep senior management and client representatives informed of critical issues affecting operations.
- Develop systems and procedures for managing operations, equipment, and products safely and profitably in accordance with company policies.
- Manage operations to meet prescribed productivity and service goals and comply with the site’s operating agreement with the client.
- Implement and report on ongoing cost‑savings measures, providing ideas and suggestions for more efficient operations.
- Meet all client‑specified KPIs and comply with quality system requirements.
- Apply sound communication and motivational techniques, create equitable supervisory programs, counsel and, where needed, discipline team members.
- Provide direction and support to Human Resources, assist with hiring, training, and professional development, and participate in performance evaluation for promotions and wage increases.
- Bear overall training and evaluation responsibilities for warehouse staff.
- Plan the daily work schedule by reviewing work orders, arrival notices, and customer instructions, assessing priorities and assigning duties to staff.
- Review pending jobs or trends, planning reorganization of warehouse space and changes in supply, equipment, or staffing levels.
- Train new staff or delegate training responsibilities to experienced team members, assess progress, and assign additional duties as appropriate.
- Keep informed of quantity and quality of jobs performed throughout the day, providing guidance and advice as necessary.
- Assign supervisory duties to experienced team members acting as leads for lower‑level staff, keeping abreast of progress or problems.
- Report daily progress or problems to management and hold regular meetings with staff to assess overall status and discuss improvement ideas.
- Assist in physical operations as needed.
- Deliver results by leveraging the skills of the right people at the right time.
- Maintain a high degree of motivation in team members to focus on providing the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
- Provide ongoing growth and development opportunities for team members.
- Conduct annual performance reviews and provide input for team members.
- Support adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and train team members accordingly.
Base pay range: $70,000 – $75,000 annually. Actual compensation will be based on relevant experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location, in accordance with applicable laws and company policy.
