We have been in business since 1971 and are here for the long haul, we offer our clients a full suite of services from our Landsdale and Henderson premises, including hot-dip galvanising, abrasive blasting, industrial paint coatings, rubber lining, custom bolt manufacturing and steel fabrication services.

QA/QC Inspector

We are looking for an experienced QA/QC Coatings Inspector to join our team ASAP, the successful candidate requires, workshop experience, must be available to work 6am - 6pm Mon - Friday (some weekend work may be required).

The position is responsible for supporting the Quality & Technical Manager and Operations Manager to manage, coordinate, monitor, supervise and control painting/coating work across our Henderson facility in accordance with approved safety, quality and performance requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure completion of all tasks in accordance with the Safety Management Plan, Quality Management System and all other Company/Client guidance processes, procedures and documentation
  • Manage, coordinate, implement and ensure painting/coating activities
  • Plan and monitor progress of allocated resources to ensure that painting/coating activities are on schedule and within quality and cost estimates
  • Ensure schedule is maintained and data is completed and distributed accurately and on time
  • Prepare and distribute reports and information where required and within agreed time frames
  • Conduct inspections, identify non-conformances, escalate where required; recommend and implement corrective action
Experience and Qualifications
  • The ability to motivate and lead your crew to achieve deadlines and common goals
  • A strong passion and understanding of safety, quality processes and procedures
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
