Overview
ENTEK is seeking applications for multiple CNC Machinist roles to join us on-site at our Henderson, Nevada location (relocation within 40 miles of Henderson is required).
As a CNC Machinist at ENTEK, you will produce machined parts by setting up and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine, maintaining quality and safety standards, keeping records, and maintaining equipment and supplies. You will verify settings by measuring positions, create first-run parts, and sample work pieces during production machining. You'll set up tooling, fixturing, and inspection equipment required for part types in the production group and perform maintenance duties.

- Perform equipment and supplies maintenance as needed and maintain accurate records.
- Adhere to work instructions and GD&T tolerancing as applicable.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
- Experience operating drilling, boring and milling, turning tooling and procedures where tolerances are close, but not difficult to maintain.
- Ability to read and use G- & M-codes at the control.
- Ability to read and understand GD&T tolerancing.
- Strong time-management skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively in written and spoken English.
- Ability to self-manage behavior and multi-task effectively.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret supplied documentation and instructions; ability to define problems, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to quickly learn and apply new skills; ability to simplify and recognize trends in complex information and data.
- Satisfactory results from a pre-employment drug screen and fit-for-duty screen.
- Ability to read blueprint specifications or equivalent.
The role operates on a 11.5-hour overnight shift from 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., Wednesday–Saturday (Shift
4). The role requires standing for most of the shift and may involve working with equipment that uses water, high heat, or mechanical means to create metal-based products. Employees may be required to lift and/or move up to 30–50 pounds, with frequent lifting up to 40 pounds and occasional lifting up to 50 pounds. Tasks require finger dexterity, reaching, handling of materials and tools, as well as vision and hearing;
the role may require kneeling, stooping, crouching, climbing, or balancing. Exposure to fumes and airborne particles and temporarily high temperatures and bright light is possible. Eye and hearing protection are required while working.
