Summary
Position will start in Oxnard, CA then must be willing to relocate to Henderson, NV January 1, 2027***
Operator 2 Salary Range: $20.00 - $28.00/ Hr.
Operator 2 DescriptionOperator 2 operates CNC or manual machines.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Follow safety requirements within the department.
- Access and understand daily and weekly schedules.
- Find, read & follow work instructions displayed electronically (iPad).
- Read and understand blueprints relative to the parts being produced.
- Correctly use all precision measuring instruments to verify part integrity.
- Correctly load and unload parts.
- Change and set tools.
- Make simple machine adjustments to maintain part integrity.
- Operate both powered and non-powered material handling equipment including forklifts, pallet jack, cranes, and mobile straddle stacker lift.
- Report any damage to a supervisor or manager.
- Follow instructions, procedures and to escape any issue impacting workflow, quality, etc.
- Exhibit honesty and integrity and demonstrate adherence to rules, procedures and policies.

EducationHigh school diploma or high school equivalency (HSE) credential such as general education degree (GED) is required, plus an additional one to three months related experience, training and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience:
3-5 years
Must have the ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions and safety rules; such as work instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English.
Mathematical SkillsMust have the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. May need to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret graphs.
Reasoning AbilityMust have the ability to apply common sense and understanding in order to carry out written, oral, and/or diagram instruction forms. Must be able to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
