Position will start in Oxnard, CA and relocate to Henderson, NV in 2027. Assembly Supervisor Salary Range: $30.00 – $50.00 per hour.

Role DescriptionAs Assembly Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring quality products are produced safely and effectively in accordance with applicable schedules.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Access and understand daily and weekly schedules.
- Read and follow work instructions displayed electronically (iPad).
- Use required gauges correctly.
- Identify potential problems.
- Troubleshoot problems.
- Assist in training employees within your department.
- Certify employees to operations.
- Perform departmental audits to ensure Work Instruction (WI) and Bill of Materials (BOM) integrity.
- Ensure assemblers perform operations correctly.
- Conduct group meetings.
- Apply logical thinking to make sound decisions.
- Coordinate production to adhere to the Master Schedule.
- Ensure all employees work safely.
- Provide input to design engineers for ease of assembly.
- Require employees to report any damage promptly.
- Escalate any issue impacting workflow, quality, etc.
- Exhibit honesty and integrity, adhering to rules, procedures, and policies.
Directly supervise employees, train staff, plan, assign, and direct work. Address complaints and resolve problems in accordance with company policies and applicable laws. Workforce size ranges from 26 to 50 personnel.
Qualifications- Identify and properly use correct hand tools.
- Understand threads, fasteners, and torque wrenches.
- Understand Bill of Materials (BOMs).
- Perform all processes in the supervised area accurately.
- Interpret departmental performance measures and use data to improve performance.
- Display leadership qualities to keep employees effective.
- Good organizational skills.
- Supervise various processes.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to speak, read, and write in Spanish is preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required, plus one to three months of related experience, training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience10+ years of relevant experience.
Language SkillsMust read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals, technical procedures, and government regulations in English. Must write analytical and technical reports, business correspondence, procedure manuals, and create instructional materials. Capable of effective public speaking.
Mathematical SkillsAbility to calculate figures such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Apply arithmetic, algebra, and geometry concepts.
Reasoning AbilityDefine problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Interpret complex technical instructions.
