Porter Lead - Night

POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for effectively training production personnel tooperatethe machinery/equipment and understand sanitation methods.

Additional duties will be tomonitorand record the performance of the porter staff toattaindaily cleaning requirements.

• Requires hands-on capability tooperateall machinery and equipment within the boundaries of available manuals,instruction and personal expertise
• Useacquiredskills to properly train porter staff in the operation of all cleaning equipment, including all pertinent methods and good manufacturing practices
• Adhere to existing corporate policies and procedures in the Engineering and Production Departments
• Assistin the responsibility ofmaintainingaccuratedocumentation related to employee performance, machinery/equipmentoperationand cleanliness of facility
• Provide the Sanitation Supervisor with objective feedback to affect objective evaluations
• Meet or exceed daily cleaning requirements per shift as set by supervisor.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities, as assigned

• Work occasionally near mechanical parts and in high places
• Exposure to cold temperatures in the winter and hot temperatures in the summer
• Work in production areas that may occasionally be a dusty environment
• Duties are performed primarily in a smoke-free environment

• 1year of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a leadership role
• Sanitation/cleaning equipment experience is preferred
• Must be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with employees and upper management
• Must be able to organize and prioritize work
• Ability to effectively communicate in English via speaking, writing, and reading
• Must be willing to work overtime or on weekends, as the workload demands

• Frequently required to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, balance, and reach
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
• Push/Pull up to 300 lbs.
