Xtreme Manufacturing in Henderson, Nevada, is looking for a Painter to paint high-reach equipment and parts.

Our painters will mix and apply single stage industrial paint to achieve the right color and texture to paint surfaces using HVLP paint guns with the PPS 2.0 system. Painters will be required to understand proper mixing ratios and when to add various agents according to temperature and humidity. They will also be required to prepare heavy equipment for painting by using D.A. sanders, sandblasters, and scrapers to remove old paint and decals.

This will include masking/taping off electrical wires, hydraulic lines, and non-painted components.

Responsibilities for Painter include but not limited to:

Mix paint and additives based on temperature and humidity.

Adjust HVLP nozzles and paint mixes for proper paint flow and coating thickness.

Able to operate heavy equipment move equipment to access areas to be painted.

Inspects the finals paint work to identify flaws such as blisters, streaks, peeling and correct their causes.

Remove decals and adhesive with scraper and solvent before the sanding process

Remove grease, dirt, paint, or rust from equipment surfaces in preparation for paint application, using abrasives, solvents, washing tanks, or sandblasters.

Fill small dents or scratches with body fillers and smooth surfaces to prepare equipment for painting.

Taping/Masking preparation.

Bleed out air compressor to assure there is no moisture and let compressor continue to run to build up air (to avoid water damage on the air tools).Lubricate all air tools.

Clean equipment and work areas.

Collect all tools and place them back in the proper toolboxes.

Dispose of hazardous waste in an appropriate manner.

Must wear proper PPE (fresh air respirator, safety glasses, gloves, paint suit, etc.).

Qualifications:

2+ years automotive or Industrial paint experience required.

Reliable transportation and clean driving record.

Ability to complete projects on-time and on-budget.

Excellent communication and team-building skills.
