Fork Lift Operator - 2nd shiftSalary Range: $17.60 To $19.60 Hourly
This is a 1st shift position 8am - 4pm at our Meiborg Warehouse in Rockford, IL
Position Summary :Operates equipment for the purpose of moving, locating, stacking, receiving, loading,and maintaining an accurate inventory.
The forklift operator must be willing to adapt to changing conditions and perform tasks beyond what may be outlined in this job description.

Other duties maybe assigned.
- Completes safety inspection of fork-lift and records inspection on checklist.
- Accurately tag product, record in WMS and put it in the proper location.
- Accurately record all product movement in the WMS to maintain inventory accuracy
- Utilizes First IN First Out (FIFO) method of inventory control to ensure high quality.
- Unload inbound shipments and accurately record lots, quantities and storage.
- Loads outgoing shipments and verifies the correct items and quantities are
- picked for the order.
- Inspects all inbound and outbound trucks for holes in trailer, infestations, chemicals and other potential food safety issues.
- Completes trailer inspection check sheet.
- Receives finished goods from production and accurately records the location in the WMS.
- Ensures that outbound trucks are safety sealed.
- Performs daily housekeeping chores.
- Responsible for recognizing and reporting food safety and employee safety issues.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Thisjob has no supervisory responsibilities.

High School Diploma or equivalent;
At least two years plus of forklift experience required.
Ability to obtain a Lift Truck License is required.
Experience in a food manufacturing facility preferred.

Thenoise level in the work environment is usually low.
The warehouse in environmentally controlled, however when loading trucks in thewinter the environment can be cold.
Expected pay rate for this position is 17.60/HR. There is a $2/HR Shift differential for hours worked after 2pm.
