Seven Hills Hospital is a private, 134-bed psychiatric hospital dedicated to providing high-quality care for adults, geriatrics, and adolescents (ages 5-17) with behavioral health and chemical dependency issues. Located in Henderson, Nevada near the Las Vegas Strip and Lake Mead, the hospital is part of the Acadia Healthcare system.
Join the team of dedicated professionals. We are seeking a Full Time Nurse Manager who will be a member of the Nursing Leadership Team and provide guidance for House Supervisors on staffing, personnel conflicts, and professional development while fostering an environment that promotes best practices and nursing excellence.
Responsibilities- Work with the CNO and ADON on maintaining adequate, cost-efficient staffing of all hospital units.
- Maintain nursing guidelines and best practices by researching, developing policies and procedures, and training front-line staff.
- Assure quality of care by developing and interpreting hospital and nursing department philosophies and standards of care; enforce adherence to the State Board of Nursing Practice Act requirements and other governing agency regulations; measure health outcomes against standards and recommend adjustments.
- Manage Medical Code Responses and provide ongoing continuous training for staff.
- Develop and manage the nursing preceptor/mentorship program.
- Develop and manage the Infection Control Program.
- Formulate and implement staffing schedules.
- Notify the CNO of all incidents and events.
- Assist the CNO in identification and investigation of staff performance issues; participate in employee counseling as directed by the CNO.
Education: BS Nursing
Experience: Two (2) years psych/chemical dependency nursing preferred;
One (1) year supervisory experience.
License: NV Registered Nurse license.
