Overview

Seven Hills Hospital is a private, 134-bed psychiatric hospital dedicated to providing high-quality care for adults, geriatrics, and adolescents (ages 5-17) with behavioral health and chemical dependency issues. Our patients recover at our state-of-the-art medical facility in the Seven Hills area of Henderson, Nevada. Henderson is located near Las Vegas and Lake Mead.

Nurse Manager

We are looking for a Full Time Nurse Manager who will be a member of the Nursing Leadership Team and provide guidance to House Supervisors on staffing issues, personnel conflicts, and professional development while fostering an environment conducive to promoting best practices and nursing excellence.

• Work with CNO and ADON on maintaining adequate, cost-efficient staffing of all hospital units.
• Maintain nursing guidelines and best practices by researching, developing policies and procedures, and training front-line staff.
• Assure the quality of care by developing and interpreting hospital and nursing department philosophies and standards of care; enforce adherence to the State Board of Nursing Practice Act requirements and to other governing agency regulations; measure health outcomes against standards and make or recommend adjustments.
• Management of Medical Code Responses and ongoing continuous training for staff.
• Development and management of the nursing preceptor/mentorship program.
• Development and management of the Infection Control Program.
• Formulate and implement staffing schedules.
• Notify CNO of all incidents and events.
• Assist CNO in identification/investigation of staff performance issues. May take part in employee counseling under the direction of CNO.

• BS Nursing
• Experience:
  
  Two (2) years psych/chemical dependency nursing preferred
• One (1) year supervisory experience
• License: NV Registered Nurse license
