Roles & Responsibilities- Provide high-quality Labor & Delivery nursing care for antepartum, intrapartum and couplet patients
- Perform and document fetal monitoring and effectively read fetal heart tracings (AFM required)
- Conduct vaginal exams and place internal fetal monitors when indicated
- Manage high-risk laboring patients and titrate drips such as magnesium sulfate, Pitocin, insulin and heparin safely
- Circulate and recover C-section patients in the unit and collaborate with surgical techs and anesthesia teams
- Deliver neonatal support including NRP interventions when needed and collaborate with in-house neonatology
- Chart accurately and efficiently in Cerner to maintain clear patient records
- Float to postpartum or other units as needed and support teammates during high census or acuity
- Advanced fetal monitoring and interpretation (AFM)
- High-risk obstetrics and Level 3 maternal care
- Internal monitor placement and vaginal exam techniques
- Titration and management of common infusions (magnesium sulfate, Pitocin, insulin, heparin)
- Neonatal resuscitation fundamentals (NRP) and collaboration with neonatology
- Strong communication, teamwork, and ability to coordinate with OR, anesthesia and ancillary staff
- Proficiency with Cerner electronic health record and clear clinical documentation

Requirements- Active RN license in applicable state (eligible to work in Nevada)
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring (AFM), NRP
- Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience (experience in L&D or high-risk obstetrics strongly preferred)
- Comfortable performing vaginal exams, internal monitor placement, and managing high-risk labors/deliveries
- Experience with titratable drips and C-section recovery care
- Proficient with Cerner or similar electronic charting systems
- Ability to float to postpartum and other units and function independently in high-acuity environments
