Job Summary

As a Nurse Shift Manager, you’ll oversee a department of frontline nurses caring for patients. Your previous experience in acute care, LTC, or nursing homes adds tremendous value to our nursing team. You advocate for nurses and support them in reaching their full potential, aligning with departmental operational goals.

• Supervise nursing staff assigned to a particular shift, assign patients to available staff considering patient condition and employee skill level.
• Assess, monitor, and educate the nursing staff on patient care; institute emergency procedures as necessary.
• Anticipate staffing needs and move proactively to respond.
• Oversee stocking of supplies and updating patient records to ensure the nursing floor is ready for subsequent shifts.

• Associate of Nursing or higher.
• Minimum of two years of clinical experience as a registered nurse.
• Registered nurse license (NV) upon hire.
• Basic Life Support – CPR, upon hire.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support, upon hire.

$49.78 – $74.05 per hour.
