Nursing Student Apprentice Med Surg; Night Shift

Responsibilities

Perform patient care activities and procedures as outlined by the Nevada Nurse Practice Act and state board of nursing. Perform assigned duties under the supervision of licensed nursing staff.

West Henderson Hospital is a 150‑bed acute care facility located at the southwest corner of Raiders Parkway and St. Rose Parkway, near the Las Vegas Raiders headquarters. The hospital offers emergency care, cardiac care, neurology, surgical procedures, gastroenterology, advanced imaging, laboratory services, respiratory services, and inpatient nursing.

PER DIEM NIGHT SHIFT

Currently enrolled in an accredited nursing program and has completed at least the first semester.

Current BLS Certification.

Nurse Apprentice must provide the most current competency check‑off list from their school to their supervising manager and maintain current competencies. Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care/service appropriate to the patient.
