• Assist surgeon and surgical team in the OR
• Care for patients before, during, and after procedures
• Develop and implement nursing care plan for surgical patients
• Ensure operating rooms are prepped with all necessary equipment and supplies
• Demonstrate a high level of compassion for patients

• One (1) year of general operating room experience as an RN or hospital approved peri-operative course. May consider any experience in an ASC (ambulatory surgery centers) where procedures are performed that have the same acuity level or level of complexity as an acute care facility.
• Technical/Vocational School Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support
• Please be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire. This ongoing competency is required through resources internal to the facility; outside RQI competency resources are not acceptable for Common Spirit Health compliance requirements.
