Responsibilities
Provides leadership in planning and delivering direct and indirect nursing care, coordinating multidisciplinary teams to achieve safe, optimal health outcomes. Supports facility goals, demonstrates professional leadership, and oversees staff, emphasizing Patient Centered Care and Service Excellence standards.
Qualifications- Graduate of an accredited Nursing school; BSN required.
- At least one year of full-time or three years of part-time experience in acute care specialty nursing; supervisory experience preferred.
- Proficient in physical assessment of cardiovascular patients, cardiovascular anatomy, 12-lead EKG interpretation, and cardiac arrhythmias. Experience with stress testing is a plus.
- Current RN license in Nevada, BLS certification, and required specialty certifications such as ACLS, PALS, or NRP.
- Pass pre-employment assessments as required.
- Leadership and coordination of nursing staff.
- Support of patient-centered care principles.
- Demonstrate service excellence and professionalism.
