- Level 3 high-risk facility
Shifts & Scheduling - We use TEAM scheduling system, and nurses submit their self scheduling request. The schedule is then balanced by a scheduling committee of NSMs
Weekend Requirements
- Every other weekend

- As needed
Is there a call or standby requirement
- No
Floating Requirements
- Yes to postpartum as needed

* Experience or 'Must have' skills
- Nurses must be independent and confident with vaginal exam, internal monitor placement, high risk laboring/delivery patients and antepartum patients. We circulate and recover our own C-Section patients and our nurses float to MB and to other units as needed
Are RNs required to titrate drips- YES
Common titratable &/or set rate drips
- Magnesium Sulfate, Pitocin, Insulin, and Heparin
