We are currently looking to hire a
** Licensed Veterinary Technician
** to join our team at
** A Cat Hospital
** in Henderson, Nevada.  The ideal candidate is dependable, skilled and able to support both patient care and team workflow effectively.
* ** Salary:** $26.00 - 29.00 per hour, depending on experience, education, certifications, licensure, and location.

* Schedule:

** Full-time, 8- or 10-hour shifts, Monday-Friday. Opening on Saturdays in 2026.

** provides exams, laboratory testing, radiology, surgery, and boarding.  We have a long history with many of our clients, and we pride ourselves on the relationships we have built with our clients. We are expanding our business into dogs in 2026.
** Who You Are:**
* ** Licensed Veterinary Technician
** in the state of Nevada, or eligible to transfer/obtain license within 3 months of hire
* ** Minimum 2 years’ experience
** working as a credentialed veterinary technician
** required
* ** Degree from an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technology program preferred, but not required
* Assist veterinarians in the examination and treatment of cats and dogs
* Maintain medical records and prepare reports for veterinarians
* Able to calculate and administer medications
* Provide surgical support and monitor anesthesia on feline and canine patients, including high-risk, medically complex felines
* Comfortable with "spicy" kitties and able to remain calm with fractious cats
* Skilled in performing dental radiographs and dental prophylaxis
* Advanced, safe handling and positioning for digital radiographs
* Perform ultrasound guided cystocentesis and place urinary catheters
* Utilize and maintain in-house laboratory equipment (Idexx/Vet Scan)
* Able to utilize veterinary medical record management software
* Provides outstanding customer service and time management skills
* Is respectful of all team members
* Communicate clearly with clients, doctors, and all staff members
