Ocean Spray is hiring for a Food Safety and Quality Technician. The role ensures quality in the plant environment by providing testing, analysis, and review to support production quality and schedule standards. The Technician trains manufacturing personnel, maintains food safety and quality practices, and serves as the point of contact for quality concerns.

Responsibilities
  • Provide quality testing, analysis, and review to ensure that production quality and schedule standards are being achieved.
  • Train and support manufacturing personnel in quality systems to maximize product quality.
  • Initiate problem‑solving activities related to quality parameter issues.
  • Support continuous training, record keeping, and maintenance of food safety and quality practices within the plant.
  • Act as point-of-contact and, using professional judgment, suggest resolutions to food safety and quality concerns in the absence of the Quality Manager.
  • Promote food safety and quality program initiatives within the plant environment.
What We Are Looking For
  • 1–3 years of experience in quality techniques.
  • Strong math skills.
  • Effective interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Detail oriented.
  • High School Diploma or GED certification.
Education

High School Diploma or GED (Required)

Work Experience

At least 1 year of experience.
