Clinical Scientist

Our client is a global clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company. They have asked us to assist them in their search for a Director, Clinical Scientist.

• Lead the design and oversee execution of clinical research studies:
  Ensure scientific integrity and adherence to regulatory standards, ethical guidelines, and company policies.
• Cross-functional Collaboration:
  
  Work closely with Clinical Operations, Regulatory, Biostatistics, and other departments to develop study protocols, investigator brochures, and regulatory submissions.
• Provide scientific expertise:
  Interpret clinical trial results, analyze competitive intelligence, and contribute to the preparation of study reports, publications, and regulatory documents that reflect the high standards of the company.
• Represent the company:
  Serve as the scientific representation of the company when collaborating with external partners, including clinical research organizations (CROs), investigators, and regulatory authorities.
• Stay ahead of the curve:
  Keep current with industry trends, competitive landscape, scientific advancements, and regulatory requirements to inform and influence clinical development strategies.
• Foster scientific growth:
  Manage, mentor, and provide guidance to members of the clinical research team as well as cross-functionally to keep team members informed and up to date on new and relevant scientific developments.

• A Ph.D. (or equivalent experience) in biological sciences.
• 2+ years industry experience. Extensive and relevant postdoc experience will also be considered.
• Experience working within a regulated and quality-controlled environment.
• Experience in standards governing clinical research (e.g., ICH GCP).
