MajorJob Duties
- Provide quality customer service to both internal and external guests by specifically maintaining established quality standards for timely food delivery.
- Demonstrate and practice the three steps of service to both external and internal guests: a warm, friendly greeting, anticipating and complying with guest needs and providing a sincere farewell by saying, “Thank you,” and “Good bye.”
- Complete guest training to ensure understanding of the M Resort service standards.
- Comply fully with all state and federal food and beverage laws and requirements.
- Maintain quality service standards for friendliness, timeliness, presentation, sanitation, and safety.
- Anticipate the needs of internal and external guests to deliver the expected quality of products and services.
- Provide a safe working environment in accordance with OSHA standards and maintain a clean and organized accident‑free work area.
- Take ownership of a guest complaint and follow through until resolution is achieved.
- Apologize and resolve guest issues by achieving instant guest satisfaction.
- Resolve guest complaints and ensure the guest does not leave unhappy.
- Provide uncompromising levels of cleanliness.
- Provide exceptionally friendly service by smiling and maintaining eye contact while “on stage” performing the job.
- Serve as an ambassador of the M Resort inside and outside of the workplace. Always speak positively, with no negative comments.
- Answer guest inquiries promptly and accurately.
- Escort customers to the desired location rather than just pointing out directions to another area of the casino.
- Ensure proper usage of casino property to prevent damage or unnecessary wear and tear. Protect the assets of the casino.
- Correct and respond promptly to any errors in food or beverage orders.
- Maintain the security and balance of the cash bank and return the bank in good order to authorized personnel after the work shift.
- Report any shortages to the supervisor that occurred during the shift and repay any shortages.
- Must provide courteous and friendly service to all guests and staff.
- Perform related work as requested.
