Description
Our resort is looking for an experienced Executive Chef! This position assists in driving the overall market status of the hotel by developing a strategic point of difference: an outstandingly creative, quality food product. Plans, directs, supervises, and controls all food and beverage item selection and production, ensuring the highest level of product quality, presentation, and sanitation. Responsible for menu planning, recipe creation, food ordering, labor staffing and scheduling, and food production, storage, and sanitation.
Directs the hiring, training, and supervision of all food production team members.
This hotel is owned and operated by an independent franchisee, Pacifica Companies. The franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from Marriott International, Inc. The franchisee solely controls all aspects of the hotel’s employment policies and practices, including hiring, firing, discipline, staffing, compensation, benefits, and all other terms and conditions of employment. If you accept a position at this hotel, you will be employed by a franchisee and not by Marriott International, Inc.
Qualifications- Received certification or a degree through a recognized educational institute of culinary arts
- Minimum five years experience as an Executive Chef at a similar size and quality hotel or resort
- Minimum five years experience in multi-outlet food production management
- Impeccable culinary skills
- Outstanding communication and leadership skills
- Exceptional creative abilities
- Extensive menu development and budget preparation experience
- Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
Salary: $95,000 - $105,000
