Position Overview

As a Cashier, you are the face of our store, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring every guest has a positive shopping experience. We are looking for a friendly, dependable individual to join our team. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, communicates effectively, and performs well under pressure. A positive attitude, teamwork, and a strong commitment to service are essential for success in this role.

Candidates must be able to multitask, stay composed in fast-paced environments, and work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Provide exceptional customer service and greet all customers.
• Ensure the store appearance is clean, neat, organized, and provides a positive shopping experience.
• Accurately process point of sale (POS) customer transactions.
• Stock and clean the store.
• Maintain cleanliness and management of gas pumps and the outside appearance of the store.
• Support team members and promote a positive team environment.
• Work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays on a rotational basis.
• Provide work cards required for jurisdiction prior to the start date.

• Ability to manage and coordinate multiple tasks at once.
• Dedication to integrity, teamwork, and customer service.
• Ability to maintain composure during times of uncertainty.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Previous POS experience, retail sales, gas station attendant, or customer service experience is a plus.

• Valid Health Card
• Valid Alcohol Awareness Card

Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written communication skills in English may also be required.

Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
