Position SummaryThe Account Executive is responsible for developing new business relationships and generating revenue opportunities across a wide range of exhibit and event solutions, including:
- Aluminum Extrusion System Exhibit Sales & Rentals
- Museums, Retail Environments & Showroom Fabrication
This role is ideal for a motivated sales professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building long-term client relationships, and is passionate about delivering creative solutions.
Key responsibilities Build Client Relationships- Develop and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective clients.
- Identify future customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Service and expand assigned accounts as directed by CEP.
- Coordinate client presentations and respond to Requests for Proposal (RFPs).
- Prospect and network in person at industry trade shows and events.
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries and requests.
- Foster long-term partnerships through exceptional customer service.
- Attend project launches and client meetings as needed.
- Meet with clients to determine project objectives and requirements.
- Prepare, manage, and monitor project budgets.
- Stay current on industry trends, materials and exhibit technologies.
- Identify opportunities for operational improvements and cost savings.
- Serve as the liaison between clients and internal departments.
- Manage client projects from concept through completion.
- Assist with Accounts Receivable follow-up as necessary.
- Maintain target profit margins according to business line objectives.
- Maintain accurate client records and project documentation.
- Update and manage SMART+ (Exhibit Force) CRM/database information regularly.
- Track prospecting activities, assigned markets and account development efforts.
- Lead internal pre-sale and post-sale meetings to ensure alignment on project goals.
- Collaborate with internal teams on proposals, job costing and client solutions.
- Communicate effectively across departments to ensure successful project execution.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field preferred.
- 1–3 years of exhibit industry sales experience or a combination of related education and construction/project experience.
- Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently and solve problems proactively.
- Strong communication, customer service and multitasking skills.
- Excellent organisational and time‑management abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook.
- Ability to travel domestically up to 20–30%.
