Position: District Manager - Advanced Wound Care (Southwest Region)

District Manager – Advanced Wound Management (Smith+Naphew)

At Smith+Naphew we design and manufacture technology that extends the limits of living. In this role you will lead a team of account managers selling our wound dressing product portfolio, including the LEAF patient monitoring device.

Responsibilities
  • Foster a collaborative team environment between team members and other Advanced Wound Management support teams.
  • Ensure proper account manager territory coverage, account penetration, and sales time allocation.
  • Support and coach team members on sales skills through weekly field rides.
  • Provide resources and mentorship for overcoming field obstacles.
  • Identify account managers with leadership potential and collaborate with AVP to build development opportunities.
  • Identify, assess, and address opportunities for performance improvement.
  • Facilitate the credentialing process required for entry into healthcare facilities, including COVID‑19 vaccine management.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 3+ years medical sales managerial experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years medical sales experience and demonstrated success with complex sales processes.
  • Proven ability to present key concepts and recommendations to customers in formal and informal settings.
  • Previous experience as a sales trainer preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills including pipeline management, territory analysis, and territory management.
  • Professional training program experience (e.g., Challenger Selling).
  • Regular weekly overnight travel required.
