The Sales Representative will manage the entire sales process while delivering excellent customer service. The role requires sourcing new customers, helping them design their dream home, and ensuring a smooth transaction from sale through construction.

Responsibilities
  • Effectively communicate D.R. Horton’s value proposition, product vision, and capabilities to potential customers.
  • Uncover and understand customer goals and challenges, then establish D.R. Horton as the best solution available.
  • Overcome objections and close sales.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of transactions from sale through loan, options, and construction.
  • Continuously source new sales opportunities.
  • Create and provide to management a marketing plan for establishing new customer relationships.
  • Network and perform outreach to realtors.
  • Manage time efficiently, meet sales goals, and work effectively with team members.
  • Maintain and expand the database of prospects.
  • Attend sales meetings.
  • Develop and maintain good rapport with prospective customers, realtors, and team members.
  • Execute policies to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Conduct all business professionally and ethically to serve customers and increase goodwill and profit.
Qualifications
  • Associate’s Degree or 2 years of related experience.
  • Must have a vehicle, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to drive during daytime or nighttime.
  • Ability to utilize D.R. Horton Sales applications on a smartphone, tablet, or laptop.
  • Capacity to apply common sense to follow instructions given in written, oral, or application form.
  • Proficiency with MS Office and email.
  • Physical ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours, sit for extended periods, kneel and bend at the waist, walk stairs or uneven terrain, use hands to handle objects, and lift or move up to 25 pounds.
  • Specific vision requirements: close vision, distance vision, color vision, and peripheral vision.
  • Regular exposure to outdoor weather conditions with a generally moderate noise level.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Licensing requirements vary by state.
  • Prior CRM software experience.
  • Previous sales experience and industry knowledge.
  • Strong communication skills and interpersonal interactions.
  • Highly motivated attitude.
