As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to create a secure environment within a bustling retail location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the premises, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to all visitors and staff. You will be the first point of contact for those in need of assistance, using your communication skills to address concerns and support a positive experience for everyone on site.

What You’ll Do

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and/or directing visitors as needed.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding incidents or concerns.
• Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and in a timely manner.

• Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

• A valid Guard Card is preferred.
