As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and assist patients, visitors, and staff with exceptional customer service and communication. You will support a caring environment through teamwork, integrity, and reliable service while using an agile, innovative approach to address security-related concerns.

** What You'll Do:*
* + Assist hospital staff with de-escalation of situations involving patients;  
** restrain combative individuals as necessary (within company and customer guidelines)*
* + Transport deceased patients to the morgue, as needed

+ Assist in escorting patients from helicopter pad (high elevation) to the emergency room

+ Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.

+ Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.

+ Monitor access points and assist with visitor management in accordance with site-specific procedures, maintaining a professional and compassionate presence.

+ Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and report relevant information to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.

* Minimum Requirements:

* +  
** Have at least 1 year of security experience.*
* + Customer service experience is preferred.

+ CPR certification is preferred.

+ Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.

+ Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
