Skilled Maintenance Worker Plant Operations; Varied

Responsibilities

Responsible for the maintenance of the physical plant buildings, grounds, equipment, and utilities. Individual Maintenance Technicians are originally hired to perform specialty tasks such as carpentry, painting, etc. and are expected to work in other trade fields when trained and qualified.

This position requires skilled maintenance with carpentry, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, painting, locksmith, general building, or general equipment maintenance. Responsibilities include performing maintenance on hospital facility equipment and systems, diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, and ensuring compliant operations.

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Completion of a certification course in a trade or two.
• 2 years practical experience in one or more of the following trades: carpentry, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, painting, locksmith, general building, general equipment maintenance. Associates of Science Degree in related field is preferred.
• Proficient in one or more specialized trades.
• Certification in a specialized trade preferred.
• Basic mathematical aptitude and exceptional troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities.
