Senior Rock Drill Operator (Heavy Equipment Operator - Driller)

Location: Based in Central Utah (Delta area, Saratoga Springs) or Southern Nevada and Southern Utah; travel required to project sites across Utah and Nevada.

You will operate cabbed rock drills (including mine‑style production drilling) to safely hit production targets in tough ground conditions. This role supports mining operations and may include day/night shifts with overtime depending on the job.

• Operate rock drills safely and efficiently; maintain consistent production
• Read/monitor ground conditions and adjust technique to reduce wear and downtime
• Perform daily inspections and basic maintenance/upkeep
• Follow MSHA/safety policies and maintain clean documentation as required

• 3 to 5 or more years of drilling experience (senior‑level)
• Experienced in Sandvik Di650 Leapord DTH Rigs or similar. And or Experience in Sandvik DP1500i Top Hammer Rigs or similar.
• Ability to meet strong production expectations (ex: high footage/hour targets)
• Clean driving record + reliable transportation to/from job sites
• MSHA 5000-23 Experienced Miner(preferred/current); strong safety mindset required
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in varying and remote conditions, with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Full-time, W‑2 Employment
• Pay: prevailing wage of 90.64/hr
• Health insurance (employee participation) + PTO after 1 year (40 hours)
• Overtime paid in accordance with state and federal law.
• 8 to 12‑hour shifts, night shifts may be required
