Job Description** CONTRACT PENDING AWARD**
IT Infrastructure Installer - Responsible for Installation and bonding of server racks, servers, routers, switches, telecommunications equipment, encryption Hardware and all associated cabling.
Duties and Responsibilities- Reads and interprets blueprints, schematics, and installation diagrams for network and server environments
- Installs, configures, and tests hardware such as servers, switches, routers, storage systems, and cabling
- Follows safety and compliance standards for electrical, network, and data center environments
- Troubleshoots and maintains installed systems to ensure reliability and performance
- Documents installation processes and test results for quality assurance
- Performs other duties as assigned
Skills and Qualifications
- HS degree or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of experience
- Proficient in CompTIA:
Security+ CE - Knowledge of copper and fiber optic cabling, patching, termination, and compliance with standards
- Familiarity with LAN/WAN, routers, switches, hubs, and servers
- Ability to install and maintain power, cooling, and UPS systems for data centers
- Attention to detail and precision in installation
- Ability to follow blueprints and technical diagrams
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Skills and Qualifications
- BICSI Technician certification desired, not required
- The work of this position is performed in an environmentally controlled office environment
- Must be capable of sitting and entering data on a computer keyboard for extended periods of time
- Must be able to view computer monitor for extended periods of time
- Ability to move and install large equipment, rack mounting, and working in confined or elevated spaces
- Must be capable of lifting 25 lbs. unassisted

- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Must possess a valid driver's license, without special restrictions
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screening
- Must be able to successfully complete a background check
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical
- Must possess or be able to obtain a secret security clearance prior to employment and maintain security clearance for the duration of employment
