Movement Search and Delivery is working with a Large Aerospace Manufacturer in Henderson, NV to identify an Instrumentation Technician (Maintenance).

Salary Expectations
  • - $38.68/Hr (non-negotiable, agreed on CBA)
  • - 3% annual raise in January
  • - Must be flexible on shift and open to some OT
  • - Estimated 110K+ annual income

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

To install, relocate, remove from service, repair, construct, design,

adjust, calibrate, modify, test, troubleshoot and service all types of electronic, hydraulic,

pneumatic, controlling, indicating and recording systems.

TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT:

Wiring diagrams, drawings, electrical and electronic tools, gauges,

pyrometer, drill press, grinder, electric drill, power saws, pipe dies, pipe threading machine,

acetylene torch, soldering and welding equipment, safety devices, hand tools and other power

tools as needed. Precision testing equipment; for example, programmable test equipment,

oscilloscope, function generator and frequency counter. Mobile equipment, such as personnel

AC and DC motors and generators, transformers, rectifiers, electronic controls

and regulators, various mill and production equipment, electronic computing and control systems,

data recording and processing equipment, control circuits, electronic gauges and detectors, such

as pinhole detection gauges and x-ray systems, industrial TV, remote control transmitters and

receivers, communications systems and equipment, annunciators, vacuum tubes, transistors,

transducers, integrated circuits, programmable controllers, analog/digital and digital/analog

converters, gas analyzers, mass spectrometers, amplifiers, sensors and measuring devices such

as Ph, conductivity, density, pressure, flow, level, amp, volt, position, vacuum, strain gauges and

scales, both mechanical and digital electronic, thermocouples, thermistors, cleaners, solvents,

DIRECTION EXERCISED:

Works alone or directs other plant personnel as required.

WORKING PROCEDURE:

1. Receives wiring diagrams, drawings, specifications and instructions covering

scheduled and emergency repair, installation and inspection work to be done, and

performs the work required by the information received.

2. Analyzes all types of circuits, wiring diagrams and drawings as required to install,

repair, adjust, calibrate, construct, modify and service all types of electronic, hydraulic

and pneumatic devices and systems, including communication systems, various mill,

production and continuous process equipment, electronic computing and control

systems, power and distribution control equipment, measuring, recording, indicating

devices and gauges, etc.

3. Plans details of working procedure to determine material or replacement needs and

selects a logical approach to "trouble shooting" and repair problems. Answers trouble

calls. Instructs and trains other plant personnel as required.

4. Makes sketches of parts and layouts; designs and constructs adaptions or conversions

of systems and component parts.

6. Assembles, inspects, adjusts, calibrates, repairs, replaces faulty parts on pneumatic

hydraulic tubing.

7. Climbs/walks on/in buildings, towers, cells, furnaces, ladders, catwalks, tunnels, pits

and other production operating equipment, to make repairs, inspections and

installations. Also uses mobile personnel lifting equipment as needed.

8. Considers all safety precautions and proper isolation of circuits to cause a minimum of

interference to operations.

9. Plans and performs work requiring a thorough knowledge of static and dynamic

physics including electrical, electronic, pneumatic and hydraulic principles, wiring

specification codes, properties of various materials, principles of operation and

application of equipment, etc.
