Plumbing Install Lead Technician

Fetch A Tech is seeking a Plumbing Install Lead Technician to oversee residential and light commercial plumbing installations within our Construction-Skilled Labor team. This role leads crews on installs of water heaters, piping, fixtures, and remodel projects, ensuring code compliance, safety, and quality workmanship. You'll plan jobs, coordinate materials, train and mentor technicians, and communicate clearly with dispatch and support staff, especially during urgent or after hours calls.

Responsibilities

• Lead residential and light commercial plumbing installation projects from start to finish
• Install, replace, and troubleshoot piping, fixtures, and water heating systems to code
• Plan jobs, review work orders, and ensure all materials and tools are ready
• Train, mentor, and supervise install helpers and junior technicians
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and local/state plumbing codes
• Communicate with dispatch, office staff, and customers, including during urgent calls
• Perform quality checks and testing on all completed installations
• Document work performed, materials used, and time on job tickets or digital platforms
• Coordinate inspections with local authorities and correct any deficiencies
• Identify upsell or system improvement opportunities while on site
