FM -Fuel Delivery CDL Driver

Our Fuel Delivery CDL Drivers have important roles at Star Nursery. They are responsible for safely transporting fuel and re-fueling trucks, lube services and minor mechanical repairs to our fleets.

• Must be physically capable and willing to work safely
• Must be willing to work in hot/dry/weather for extended periods
• Current valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) with Applicable Endorsements (Haz Mat/Tanker, Air Brakes, Std Transmission)
• Certified in the Transportation of Dangerous Goods or Haz Mat
• Experience delivering bulk fuel or other bulk liquids with formal training, or a combination of relevant education and experience
• Experience performing lube services and minor mechanical services such as head light replacement, oil changes, etc.
• Experience completing a proper pre & post trip
• A good sense of direction
• A friendly, courteous, and professional manner
• Excellent defensive driving skills and safe driving techniques
• Good communication and people skills (orally or written) are required
• Mon - Fri work schedule / hours to be discussed

• 1 year of experience as a Haz Mat Driver
• Must be safety minded
• Must work well with others as well as independently

• Full Time
• The work requires moderate-heavy physical exertion
• Applicants must be physically fit and be able to lift, push, pull, and/or carry 70 lbs.
• Pre-employment drug screening required
