Title:

Team Lead. Time Type:
Full Time. We are seeking experienced logistics professionals to join our Travel Team as operational experts to deploy to DSV and/or client sites, implement standardized processes, lead local teams, and ensure site performance meets global standards. This role targets dedicated Logistics Leads and Material Handlers who adapt quickly, excel in new environments, and build efficient, high-performing warehouse operations.

• Site launches and operational improvements; travel to different locations to manage physical operations, train staff, and maintain safety and performance compliance.
• Hands-on management of shipping, receiving, inventory cycle counting, stowing, and returns on domestic and international orders following Standard Work Instructions and SLAs.
• Inventory control: maintaining stock, identifying and recording locations, researching material movement, reconciling locations, resolving discrepancies, and performing consolidations.
• Order fulfillment: picking and verifying materials for production orders and preparing for shipment (packing, crating, palletizing, loading, dispatch).
• Quality auditing: performing quality audits on received materials to ensure accuracy and SLA alignment.
• Team supervision: leading, developing, and training local teams to meet or exceed KPIs and SLAs; coaching trainees as needed.
• Training certification: serving as a certified trainer for material-handling equipment (MHE) and inbound/outbound/IC/RMA processes; conducting scenarios and Q&A to ensure understanding.
• Site management: conducting startup meetings, reviewing daily workloads, assigning tasks, and documenting infractions; leading by example.
• Standards & safety: leading safety initiatives and maintaining 5S standards; performing spot checks to ensure PPE usage.
• Logistics coordination and on-site support: load planning, dispatching, monitoring, and tracking loads via Transportation Management Systems (TMS); collaborating with other departments and sites to resolve issues; submitting and resolving tickets.
• Corporate travel support: assisting internal travelers with air, car, and hotel reservations; daily per diem provided.

• Mobility: extensive domestic travel across the national network with short notice (as little as 48 hours); be open to regional and nationwide deployment. International travel not currently within scope.
• Certifications:
  
  valid driver s license or REAL ; MHE certification (stand-up and sit-down forklift, EPJ); RF scanner usage required. Passports are a requirement.
• Technical skills: proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) including gWMS/JDA, SAP, Agile, Jarvis, GUTs, Buganizer, Google Apps/G-Suite.
• Background checks: able to pass federal/state/local government, airport, or company-required checks and drug/alcohol tests.
• Education:
  
  high school diploma or GED.

  entry-level leadership role with solid interpersonal and analytical abilities; typically 1–2 years of warehouse and material handling experience.
