CDL-A OTR Truck Driver Mentor - 6 Months Experience Required

The Over the Road Mentor position offers an excellent opportunity to travel while earning competitive pay with C.R. England. Over the Road Mentors teach apprentices how to safely and efficiently drive a truck in accordance with state and local laws and C.R. England policies. Mentors get paid for all the miles the truck moves and can earn extra with Mentor Bonuses and Cash Incentives.

Key responsibilities:

• Teach apprentices safe and efficient truck driving practices.
• Ensure compliance with state and local laws.
• Handle no-touch freight, primarily refrigerated goods, with some dry freight.
• Maintain high safety standards and receive safety bonus incentives.
• Operate C.R. England’s top‑of‑the‑line sleeper trucks with automatic transmissions, pulling 53‑ft dry van trailers.

Key qualifications:

• Valid CDL‑A license.
• 25 years of age or older.
• Minimum 6+ months of recent tractor‑trailer experience.
• Additional experience/skills not required.
