CompensationThe hourly pay range for this position is $20.92 to $23.14 per hour
. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, internal equity, geographic location, and other job‑related factors.
Friday through Tuesday from 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm (hours subject to change depending on business needs).
Employment LogisticsThe Traffic Control Specialist monitors, tracks, and logs departure/arrival times, events, and locations into OnTrac’s Traffic Management System. Tasks include daily administration of fleet maintenance records and fleet invoices, ensuring regulatory compliance, handling telephone calls, monitoring and communicating any fleet maintenance issues that impact arrival or departure schedules, providing follow‑up and updates, and proactively taking action when trucks break down.

- Minimum of two years administrative or clerical experience (fleet experience preferred).
- High school diploma required.
- Maintain and contribute to a safe work environment by adhering to policies and procedures as outlined in the Company Safety Program.
- Consistent and effective follow‑up with facility personnel on maintenance issues.
- Daily administration of fleet maintenance records, processing of fleet invoices, and ensuring regulatory compliance of the OnTrac Fleet Department.
- Field telephone calls, file, and data entry.
- Maintain all fleet files and costing sheet.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions.
- Ability to communicate and interface with many vendors and corporate employees.
- Ability to read and apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form.
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to apply strict confidentiality rules to daily workload.
Problem‑solving ability. - Provide feedback to Facility GM’s and Fleet department regarding invoice, maintenance, and compliance issues.
- Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
- Proficiency in Windows applications:
Word, Excel, and Outlook. - Excellent data entry skills, including 10‑key.
- Washington state employees are eligible for up to 56 hours of paid sick leave annually.
- The hourly rate range above represents the national range for this position. The hourly rate range may be inclusive of several career levels at OnTrac, and the actual base hourly rate offered may vary depending on several factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, candidate experience and qualifications, job‑related skills and competencies, market alignment, and financial considerations.
- Compensation decisions are made based on the specific circumstances of each hire to ensure fair and competitive pay.
